FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The USA South Athletic Conference released its 2012-13 Academic All-Conference Team recently and 102 Monarchs were among the nearly 1,200 student athletes honored from each of the conference's member institutions.
 
A student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 GPA in each of the two semesters of a given year to be eligible. Any student-athlete participating in any varsity sport at any Conference institution is eligible. The sport does not have to be a Conference-sponsored sport.
 
Among those honored for Methodist were All-American women's golfers Kelsie Carralero and Jenny Sullivan, women's tennis First Team All-USA South selection, Kat Meindl, and USA South Men's Golf Player of the Year and All-American Mike Wesko.
