ATLANTA, Ga. – The Methodist University Women's Tennis team had its season come to an end on Friday after suffering a 5-0 defeat to #16 Washington and Lee in the opening round of the NCAA Regionals being held at Emory University.
Washington and Lee swept all three doubles matches to start the contest before winning two singles matches to gain the necessary five points for a decision.
The Monarchs finish the year with an overall record of 20-3 winning both the USA South Conference regular season and tournament championships.
