HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team continued its winning ways with an 8-1 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon down in Hilton Head, S.C.
 
The Monarchs moved to 6-2 on the season with their fifth straight win. The Battling Bishops fell to 1-6 on the year with the loss.
 
MU set the tone early, capturing all three doubles points in convincing fashion. The Monarchs then rolled to victory by posting wins in 5-of-6 singles matches, with all the wins coming in straight sets.
 
The Monarchs are back in action on Saturday when they play at Ferrum beginning at 1:00 pm.
