DURHAM, N.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team finally began the spring portion of its schedule, falling, 6-1, to NCAA Division I N.C. Central on Sunday afternoon.
 
Emliy Talley defeated Brianna Gatson 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6 singles for the Monarchs' lone win of the day against the Division I foe. No other Monarch was able to win a set on the day.
