FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- With cold and wet conditions once again blanketing much of the southeast, Methodist University has been forced to alter its athletic schedules for a second consecutive week.
 
The Methodist baseball team, originally slated to play at Ferrum on Saturday and Sunday, will now take on the Panthers in a doubleheader beginning at noon on Sunday followed by a single game on Monday at 1:00 pm.
 
The softball team, which was slated to host the two-day Early Bird Invitational on Friday and Saturday had already moved the schedule to Saturday and Sunday, has now cancelled all of Saturday's games and the tournament will begin play on Sunday at 10:00 am at Lamon Street Park. A full schedule of all the tournament's games and teams participating will be available soon.
 
Finally, the women's tennis team which had been schedule to take on Huntingdon on Sunday, will now play N.C. Central on Sunday at a time yet to be determined.
