FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Methodist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be participating in the USA South Athletic Conference's “Cans Across the Conference Initiative” at all of the Monarchs' home events this Saturday.

As part of the Monarchs and USA South's ongoing “Cans Across the Conference” initiative, the Monarchs are encouraging fans to donate canned goods at the designated locations at any of the six home events hosted on campus this Saturday.

Volleyball is hosting a tri-match in the Riddle Center with matches slated to begin at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm, the men's and women's soccer teams have games with LaGrange at 12:00 and 2:00 pm, respectively, and the football team kicks off against Maryville at 1:00 pm.

Last winter, the women's basketball team was the Monarchs' leader in canned goods collected with a whopping 1,493.
