BEREA, Ohio - Methodist's
Ruby Blackwell and
Cedric McGill were back in action at the 2010 NCAA Track and Field Championships for the 100 meter preliminaries on Friday.
Blackwell turned in the third fastest time in the preliminaries after finishing the 100 in 11.94 seconds. She finished second in her heat and will return to compete in the finals tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
McGill finished seventh in his heat in 10.97 seconds.
The Monarchs will finish up on Saturday with the 100 and 200 meter finals along with the 4x100 meter relay finals. The 4x100 meter relay will start things off at 1:10 pm before Blackwell competes in the 100 at 2:30 p.m. Blackwell and
Greg Bailey will wrap things up with the 200 meter finals at 3:35 and 3:45 p.m. respectively.
