APPLETON, Wisc. - Methodist sophomore Trey Such was named a second team All-American Thursday night by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

The ABCA announced the All-American teams at the NCAA Championship banquet. Such was selected to the second team after earning first team All-Region recognition earlier this week. The Monarchs' starting catcher, Such led the team at the plate hitting .393 on the year with 13 home runs and 54 RBI. Earlier this year he was recognized as a USA South first team All-Conference selection and has notched his first All-Region and All-American honors.
