Women's Tennis Celebrates Another Successful Day in Texas
Monarchs survive travel to win another match

BELTON, Texas - The Methodist women's tennis team had another busy day of travel and tennis competing at Mary Hardin-Baylor.

From the Flaherty Files:

We got an early start. We left the lake house in Woodville, Texas this morning. On our drive we had some very interesting occurrences. First, we were flipping through radio stations and found some popular American music in Spanish. (Kelli Shelton found this very amusing!) Then we got a little lost, not because Dana Powell stole the directions, but because Coach's TomTom was acting up. After the third time the TomTom steered us in the wrong direction, Coach picked it up and proceeded to throw the TomTom in frustration. Thankfully, Katherine Meindl and Heather Brayton have a keen sense of direction and got us to Mary Hardin-Baylor where we played a tough match and earned our second win in Texas! Tonight we our going to eat at a country Texas restaurant and line dancing is also on the agenda!
