FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2008-2009 Academic All-Conference Team. A student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 GPA in each of the two semesters of a given year to be eligible. Any student-athlete participating in any varsity sport at any Conference institution is eligible. The sport does not have to be a Conference-sponsored sport. This season, a record total of 728 athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors.

The conference has recognized 72 Methodist student-athletes with honors across the Monarchs' 19 varsity sports. The following students are members of the 2008-09 USA South Academic All-Conference team:
