FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for softball. A total of 58 student-athletes have been named to the teams for softball. Five Methodist players received recognition by the conference.
Designated player
Jody Eyler and outfielder
Cortney Kerns were both named to the Second Team. Eyler batted .293 overall this season while hitting .351in USA South play. Kerns was .292 at the plate overall but hit .360 in conference action.
Catcher
Darci Martin received Third Team recognition while third baseman
Kayla Talbert and outfielder
Tabatha Stephenson were honorable mention selections.
Also, the USA South recognized an All-Sportsmanship Team, consisting of one member from each competing school. Senior
Caline Daun was chosen to represent Methodist.
