MU Cheer Donates Shoes to Shoes-4-Souls
Cheerleaders donated shoes for families in need

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Methodist University cheerleading team recently collected shoes to donate to Shoes-4-Souls, a shoe charity dedicated to helping those in need.
The Monarchs donated their own shoes as well as gathered donations from faculty, staff and students. "The amount of shoes donated from the Methodist community was impressive. My Office was filled and we donated a filled van of shoes to a worthy organization," head coach Melissa Hay said.
Shoes-4-Souls is a Raleigh-based non-profit organization that recycles safe, comfortable shoes for the less fortunate. Their goal is to collect 10,000 shoes before Christmas. Shoes will be distributed in the immediate area for those in need.
