FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South has announced their Athletes of the Week.  The conference gives an award for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for each sport active during that week.

Josh Schrader has been named the USA South Golfer of the Week. The senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania competed in two tournaments over the past two weeks. At the Oglethorpe Fall Invitational two weeks ago, Schrader shot a six-under par 136 to win the event. He led the Monarchs to a first place finish in the two-day tournament. Schrader shot a three-under par 67 on the first day before finishing with a one-under par 69. Last week, at the O'Briant Memorial Tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina, Schrader shot an eight-over par 148 to finish third. Schrader helped the Monarchs capture their fifth consecutive tournament. Schrader shot an opening round six-over par 76 then a two-over par 72 in the final round.
