Men's Golf Wins O'Briant Memorial

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Methodist men's golf team won their fifth straight tournament on Tuesday after firing a 293 in the second round of the Tom O'Briant Memorial. The Monarchs finished at 589 (296-293) for first place honors.
Emory came in second at 602. Methodist's
Trey Howell and
Josh Speight tied for medalist honors with a 146 (73-73) on the par 70 course.
Josh Schrader placed third at 148 (76-72) and
Alex Weir tied for fourth at 149 (74-75).
Kyle Berry finished up at 162 (79-83) for the tournament.
The Monarchs have concluded the fall portion of their season, but will kick off their spring at the Callaway Invitational Mar. 1-2.
