Methodist Women in Fifth at Ross Resorts

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - The Methodist women's golf team shaved 12 strokes off their score from round one to round two to move into fifth place at the Ross Resorts Invitational. The Monarchs shot 624 (318-306) on the par 72 course at MidPines.
Rollins leads the 10-team field at 601 (300-301) while Nova Southeastern is in second at 602 (304-298).
Methodist's
Susan Martin shot -1 in the second round to finish for the day tied for seventh at 151 (80-71).
Gretchen McLean is tied for 12th at 154 (80-74) and
Paige Caldwell is tied for 26th at 159 (78-81).
Kelsey Magnine shot 160 (80-80) to tie for 31st and
Alana Swain tied for 37th at 162 (80-82).
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with the final round.
