FREDERICK, Md. - The Methodist women's tennis team concluded their fall season with a 9-0 win over Hood College Sunday afternoon.

Dana Powell opened up with an 8-2 win at number one doubles. Senior

Stacey Brooks to win 8-3 at number three.
Methodist finished with the shutout after earning six singles wins. Junior
Kaitlin Flaherty won her first set 6-0 before winning the match by retirement. Freshman
Katherine Meindl won 6-0, 6-2 at number two and Davis won 6-0, 6-2 at number three. Freshman
Rachel Purser won 6-1, 6-0 at number four and Powell won 6-0, 6-0 at number five. Junior
Heather Brayton took the 6-0, 6-0 win at number six.
The Monarchs will open their spring season in Atlanta, Ga. Feb. 21.
